Our work

A selection of client projects, and how we approached each one.

Drupal / Commerce

E-Commerce Platform Migration

Challenge

A regional retailer was running an aging Drupal 7 e-commerce site with slow page loads, a fragile custom checkout flow, and no mobile-responsive design. Managing product catalogs required developer involvement for routine updates.

Solution

We migrated the store to Drupal 10 with Drupal Commerce, rebuilt the product catalog as structured content types, and implemented a headless-ready REST API layer. The checkout flow was redesigned with progressive enhancement and integrated with Stripe.

Technologies

Drupal 10PHP 8Drupal CommerceStripeTwigPostgreSQL

Results

  • Page load time reduced by 62%
  • Mobile conversion rate increased by 40%
  • Catalog updates now handled by content editors with no developer involvement

React / Node.js

Analytics Dashboard SPA

Challenge

A logistics company managed operations through multiple disconnected tools — spreadsheets, third-party dashboards, and manual reporting. Teams lacked a unified view of key metrics and spent hours each week compiling reports.

Solution

We built a single-page application in React with a Node.js/Express backend that aggregated data from their existing systems via REST and GraphQL APIs. Role-based access control, real-time updates via WebSockets, and a responsive layout made it usable across devices.

Technologies

React 18TypeScriptNode.jsExpressGraphQLWebSocketsPostgreSQL

Results

  • Weekly reporting time cut from 8 hours to under 30 minutes
  • All operational metrics unified in a single interface
  • Role-based views deployed for 4 distinct user types

Gatsby / Headless CMS

Corporate Website Rebuild

Challenge

A professional services firm had a static HTML site that was difficult to update, ranked poorly in search, and failed Core Web Vitals benchmarks. Marketing wanted content control without depending on developers for every change.

Solution

We rebuilt the site with Gatsby 5, sourcing content from a headless CMS (Contentful). Pages are statically generated at build time for maximum performance. We added structured data markup, an XML sitemap, and optimized all images via Gatsby Image.

Technologies

Gatsby 5React 18TypeScriptContentfulTailwind CSSNetlify

Results

  • Lighthouse performance score improved from 48 to 97
  • Organic search traffic grew 85% within 6 months
  • Content team now publishes and edits pages independently

Node.js / API

REST API Backend Service

Challenge

A SaaS startup had a monolithic backend that could not scale to meet growing API demand. Deployment was manual, downtime occurred during peak usage, and third-party integrations were tightly coupled, making changes risky.

Solution

We extracted core services into a Node.js REST API built with Express and TypeScript, containerized with Docker, and deployed to a managed cloud environment with CI/CD via GitHub Actions. Third-party integrations were decoupled behind an adapter layer with retry logic and circuit breakers.

Technologies

Node.jsTypeScriptExpressDockerPostgreSQLGitHub ActionsRedis

Results

  • API response time reduced by 55% under load
  • Zero-downtime deployments achieved via blue-green strategy
  • New third-party integrations now take hours instead of days to ship
